04.08.00 - i'm up again and not sleeping. heading later today to the New Haven Film Fest to catch Mud Season. no other plans today. next week, i may have more adventures lined up. i can't wait until April 19 at the Webster Theater in Hartford! whoohoo! Flaming Lips.

04.07.00 - watching t.v. with a friend from work and getting a 3 a.m. phone call later that night, i realized that life ain't so bad, that i am completely spoiled rotten, and that my best friend is indeed my best friend.

04.02.00 - and this Sunday has been not so gorgeous, so i sat around the house and read and watched cooking shows. my friend is not coming with me to NOLA, but that's ok. i'll probably have more fun without him. i may rent a car and head north to Oxford to see how my old pals are doing. it can be a lovely drive...and then to see the magnolias and roses? hmmm. that's a good idea!

04.01.00 - it was gorgeous spring outside today. i went on a long walk to enjoy it...and then i had lunch at Claire's and then i went in to the library, but for once, the first time ever, not to actually work. i sat in the various reading rooms and read and found two new novels and did crossword puzzles on my computer (in there only to check my email to see if an order had been shipped). i can indeed be a lazy ass.
   then i caught a matinee of Ghost Dog.
